The house in brief
Jacquemus was founded in 2009 by Simon Porte Jacquemus, who named the label after his mother's maiden name; it began showing at Paris Fashion Week in 2012 and won the LVMH Prize Special Jury award in 2015. The house remains founder-led and independent; in 2025 L'Oréal took a minority stake in the brand alongside a beauty-line partnership, and former Celine North America president Sarah Benady was appointed CEO. It is known for womenswear, menswear (launched 2019) and small handbags such as Le Chiquito and Le Bambino.
